Kids & Teens: Classic Eclairs & Cream Puffs

Build each component of a traditional eclair and cream puff. A hands-on opportunity to learn three new recipes, from pastry cream to choux pastry to chocolate ganache. We’ll provide a healthy snack and refreshments for all participants.
A fun class for kids, friends or families, there are lots of cooking skills, good eats and memories packed into this 2 1/2-hour class. And don’t worry, parents, there will be plenty to bring home to share.

Meet Your Instructor
Director of School Operations JESSE BRUNE-HORAN brings years of culinary expertise, lifestyle media, and teaching to Violet Cooking School. After graduating Le Cordon Bleu in 2006, he dove right into television as a food and wellness expert. He has co-starred in Bravo’s Workout, Food Network’s Private Chefs of Beverly Hills, and OWN’s Emmy-winning Home Made Simple. He has been a featured expert in countless magazines, television shows and books. As a chef instructor, Jesse has led courses at Epicurean Culinary School and The New School of Cooking.
In 2020, Jesse founded the fed collective, a plant-based lifestyle destination, e-commerce store, and catering service. He lives in Los Angeles with his husband and their two young boys. Jesse shares Violet LA’s founder Dana Slatkin’s passion for culinary education and community enrichment, bringing his effervescent joi de vivre to everyone he meets.
