We are continuing our holiday baking series with a class totally dedicated to treats your kids can make and offer to friends and family as gifts … or just eat themselves!
In this class, participants will:
- Execute favorite holiday treat recipes like: frosted sugar cookies, peppermint bark, rice crispy treats, fudge & more…
- Package their creations in cute gift bags to share as holiday gifts
We’ll provide lunch and refreshments for all participants.
This is a fun class and satisfying class, that will give the whole family great recipes they can use for years to come.

Meet Your Instructor
Director of School Operations JESSE BRUNE-HORAN brings years of culinary expertise, lifestyle media, and teaching to Violet Cooking School. After graduating Le Cordon Bleu in 2006, he dove right into television as a food and wellness expert. He has co-starred in Bravo’s Workout, Food Network’s Private Chefs of Beverly Hills, and OWN’s Emmy-winning Home Made Simple. He has been a featured expert in countless magazines, television shows and books. As a chef instructor, Jesse has led courses at Epicurean Culinary School and The New School of Cooking.
In 2020, Jesse founded the fed collective, a plant-based lifestyle destination, e-commerce store, and catering service. He lives in Los Angeles with his husband and their two young boys. Jesse shares Violet LA’s founder Dana Slatkin’s passion for culinary education and community enrichment, bringing his effervescent joi de vivre to everyone he meets.
