Bonjour!

Violet Los Angeles is a charming neighborhood Bistro and Cooking School in the heart of Westwood Village. Housed in a two-story historic brick building, Violet features a lush and romantic courtyard, chic bar and dining room, rooftop terrace, and a beautiful demonstration kitchen. 

Reservations are highly recommended. We host numerous private events, from birthdays and weddings to corporate and team-building cooking classes, bar mitzvahs, and afternoon tea.

Violet Cooking School

Experience a beautiful state-of-the-art culinary destination and Viking showroom offering fun and enriching cooking classes, private events and more. Each class is taught by one of our professional chefs or special guest instructor. Bienvenue!

Private Events

Violet Los Angeles offers a warm and elegant setting for unforgettable celebrations of every kind. Our charming brick courtyard, chic dining room, and rooftop terrace create the perfect backdrop for showers, weddings and receptions, cocktail hours, corporate gatherings, hands-on cooking experiences, and more. Our culinary team will work closely with you to craft a thoughtful menu and seamless experience from start to finish.

Haute Tea à la Violet: Winter Tea

Inspired by the charm of a French bistro and the elegance of English afternoon tea, this seasonal gathering celebrates the beauty of autumn with warm hospitality and refined bites.

Savor spiced scones with sweet cream and jam, delicate finger sandwiches, autumnal petit fours, and other exquisite treats. Your experience includes a glass of sparkling Rosé or our signature Violet Lemonade (non-alcoholic), crafted to complement the flavors of the season.

Seating is offered exclusively in our Courtyard and Terrace, where the golden light of fall creates the perfect backdrop for connection and celebration.

A selection of tea sandwiches inspired by Violet Bistro (vegetarian options available)
Warm scones with sweet cream and house-made preserves
Petit fours (layered cakes and savory bites)
Madeleines

Our signature tea blend (decaffeinated Rooibos tea available upon request)
